What We Do: HVAC Water & Potable Treatment
We are industrial water treaters, who test water that are used in process heating and cooling. If metal comes into contact with moisture, it will rust. Various chemistries and mechanical devices slow down that corrosion. We provide the chemistry, equipment, and testing to prevent scale, corrosion, and microbiological fouling of these process water systems. These systems are generally outlined into three categories:

Who We Are
Chicago Water Treaters was founded by Brian R. Burgess, a Certified Water Technologist, CWT, and associate professor of Process and Recreation Water Treatment at Triton College.
Jim Burgess, Chem E, brings hands-on experience from the plastics and medical device industries to water treatment . From an operations VP to Director of Sustainability, he has led engineering, product development, and operations teams while holding several patents. His experience on the plant floor allowed him to connect and truly understands the challenges operators face. He leverages lean systems and modern manufacturing techniques to address real-world water treatment issues.
We want to modernize the industry for the better, and take advantage of AI technology, better service reporting, and advanced trend analysis.
